Whenever we talk about teen age, we go back to our years of freedom, enjoyment, energy and excitement. The age of experimenting things is also what we can call it. Teens means energy, full of life, but these days we can see that all the teens are depending so much on junk food that there is no intake of nutrition by these people. They like parties and over eat and do not even exercise much. This is making the teens of this age slow, dull and obese. The most essential thing, i.e. energy cannot be seen in them now a days.
This is a very crucial age as an individual can feel the changes going in him or her. There body is developing and they look different, they are developing in this stage. They change from kids to young girls and boys. At this point of time, they need healthy diet to be healthy in future. Whatever one eats, drinks in this stage make a direct impact on them. Their height, muscles, bones and overall outlook is all dependent on what they intake. If they consume right amount of nutrients like vitamins, fats, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fibre, then this will effect the growth directly.
If they’ll consume a balanced nutritious diet and if they’ll exercise regularly, then they’ll be able to make them strong, internally and externally both ways. It is very essential, what a teen consumes in his teen age always helps them throughout. Let’s take an example, there is an age when one’s height can b increased and this age is the teen age when the height of an individual increase the most. It is important for teens to eat well so that they can have a healthy life throughout.
